Toshia Ann Yamaguchi, MD specializes in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the UCR Health Comprehensive Psychiatric Services in Riverside. She is also a Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor of Neuroscience at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine. Dr. Yamaguchi is board-certified in Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She offers psychiatric evaluation and treatment of mental health disorders for children, adolescents, and young adults. She considers the biological, psychological, and social influences of mental health and offers evidence-based treatment plans. Coming from an Asian-American background, Dr. Yamaguchi has great respect for the significance of culture, which is displayed in a multitude of forms in the rich Riverside community. She did her training at the UCR School of Medicine, so she feels very connected to the community and is also humbled by the honor of teaching residents, fellows, and medical students at the UCR School of Medicine. Dr. Yamaguchi is fluent in English and Spanish.

• Outside of medicine, what do you like doing? One of the most important parts of my life is my dog, Genji. I love taking him on walks, runs, and hikes. One of my favorite hobbies is watercolor painting. Painting gives me a space to celebrate spontaneity, imperfection, and creativity.
