Dr. Crystal Glassy is a board-certified family and integrative medicine physician dedicated to holistic, patient-centered care and medical education. She holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Michigan State University and a Master of Public Health from San Diego State University. Dr. Glassy completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of California, Irvine, where she served as Chief Resident. Her clinical interests include mind-body medicine, nutrition, and stress management, with a focus on addressing health disparities and fostering diversity in healthcare. Dr. Glassy’s passion for teaching and her commitment to underserved communities highlight her mission to empower patients and train the next generation of healthcare providers.

• Why did you go into medicine? My interest in biology, teaching, and developing long-standing and meaningful relationships with people made medicine the right fit for me.
• What do you bring to UCR Health? I am dual-boarded in Family Medicine and Integrative Medicine. I commonly use nutrition, judicious use of herbals and supplements, exercise, and mind-body practices alongside traditional medical therapy. I believe integrative medicine empowers patients by giving them tools to support their bodies' inherent ability for wellness. I am excited to use these techniques with patients interested in exploring them.
• Outside of medicine, what do you enjoy doing? Spending time with my husband and sons, cooking, and spending as much time as we can enjoying the great outside weather here in Southern California.
