Washing your hands is an easy and effective way to prevent the spread of germs. Not only will clean hands protect you, but will also help reduce the spread of disease throughout the community.
With COVID-19 still present, it is important that we end the year by establishing and maintaining good hygiene habits to protect ourselves and our loved ones.
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, below are five steps on how to effectively wash your hands:
Wet your hands with clean, running water and apply soap.
Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap.
Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds.
Rinse your hands well under clean, running water.
Dry your hands with a clean towel or air dry them
