Open enrollment is a time to choose your health coverage in which you have the freedom to make changes to your healthcare coverage. Think about open enrollment as the shopping season for healthcare. Understanding the insurance coverages on the market and what each insurance coverage offers will help you make the best decision for your health and wellness.
What are the benefits of Open Enrollment?
During open enrollment, beneficiaries can:
- Enroll, de-enroll or change medical, dental and/or vision plans.
- Enroll or de-enroll dependents
- Enroll or de-enroll in Health/Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA). FSA users are required to re-enroll in the Health/Dependent Care FSA every year.
- Enroll in the ARAG Legal plan.
Do I need to take action if I am not making any changes?
If you are not planning to make any changes with your current healthcare coverage, you do not need to take action for the upcoming year.
